[摘要] 本文在对各种测量机结构材料的优缺点进行分析比较的基础上，着重论述了钢件焊接在测量机应用方面的优势，并结合实际工作经历，总结出了测量机焊接件毛坯与成品焊接件的重量比，并举例分析了这一比值对焊接件设计的指导意义。

The Application Of Weldment In CMMs
[Abstract] Based on analyzing and comparing about the advantage and disadvantage of all kinds of structure material of the three coordinate measuring machine(CMMs) ，the advantage of weldment in CMMs is emphasized.The ratio of weight of the rough of weldment and the finished product of weldment of CMMs is summarized through the working-expierance ，and the significance of the ratio for weldment is analyzed through a example.
