Introduction
If google search “carbon and climate change”, in 0.35 seconds, there are 204 millions results come up; 如果谷歌搜索“碳与气候变化”，在0.35秒内，就有204百万结果出现; in only 0.11 seconds, 1.35 millions of scholarly related articles and reports will show up! 仅0.11秒，1.35万相关的学术文章和报告将显示出来With tremendous astonishment quickly skimmed through some pages, various competing theories, discourses and solutions are stated out by specialists and scientists, who come from all over the world. 带着巨大的惊讶快速浏览一些网页上，各种相互竞争的理论、论述和解决方案由自世界各地的专家和科学家提出。Hence, carbon and climate change is very complex, which is an obvious wicked problem for our human kind nowadays.
Characteristics of Wicked Problem--Carbon and Climate Change碳和气候变化问题的特征
Time时间
“Prior to the 18th century, scientists had not suspected that prehistoric climates were different the modern period. 18世纪之前，科学家们并不怀疑史前气候的不同的现代时期。By the later 18th century, geologists found evidence of a succession of geological ages with changes in climate.” 18世纪后期，地质学家发现一连串的地质年代气候变化的证据。(‘History of climate change science’ 2012) As we can see that since the 1st day carbon and climate change became an issue until now it has not stopped and still been being tested, which is one of the characters of a wicked problem has.
In reality, people cannot stop consuming those goods, which emit carbon, hence, manufactures do not stop making them, and so do businesses. This means this man-made problem will never be ended. However, our society has been trying to reduce carbon affects but these solutions can only improve this situation and is impossible to terminate it. According to these testing the solutions, again, “even results may seem positive in the short term, could have negative consequences later”. (Bajada et al. 2012)
From time to time, ongoing human activities create carbon problem, which causes global warming issue; people attempt to resolve it and keep exam their methods which can only reduce its affects in short term. Overall, this mankind’s contribution is an uninterrupted matter along with its solutions.

“Wicked problems are unique – they may not be solved through the adoption of a previously implemented solution…问题是独特的 – 它们可能不能通过以前实施的解决方案来解决there is no right answer…solutions of wicked problem are not true or false, but good or bad…There is no set number of possible solutions to a wicked problem.” (Bajada et al. 2012)
